Bullet Resistant Door Assembly
What makes a metal door even more resistant to bullet penetration? An additional armor plate that's welded to the inside face of the pan.
Our bullet resistant door assembly is designed at close range to deflect up to Level 3 SPSA ammunition as approved by Underwriters Laboratory. Bullet resistant doors are governed by the criteria established in UL 752. Eight levels of bullet resistance are established ranging from small .38 handgun (Level I) to 7.62 high powered military assault rifle (Level VIII). Our bullet resistant door assembly is designed identically to our versatile and innovative N-series door, but it's packaged with a frame that has the same kind of additional reinforcement. Our 14-gauge, bullet resistant door assembly can be fire-rated from 20-minute to 3 hours. It's also available in sizes up to 4 feet by 10 feet.
